Environmental Education and reverse logistics in the early years of elementary school

Abstract

Environmental Education (EE) and Reverse Logistics (LR) contribute to sustainable development. The objective of this research was to discover the level of knowledge about EE and RL of students in the early years of elementary school in public schools in the city of Belém-PA. The bibliographic research included field activities that took place in November 2019 with a total of 96 students from the 3rd, 4th and 5th years of two public schools in Belém-PA. Workshops were held to make objects from waste, and later application of forms with open and closed questions. The results showed that the best known subject is Environmental Education, with the internet being the main source of information. At school, EE is seen in the 2nd and 3rd years in the Science subject. The search for new perspectives of teaching and learning subjects such as EA and LR contributes to the formation of conscious individuals.
