Abstract

Environmental Education demands integral insertion in the educational context, given its ability to influence awareness and promote attitudes conducive to the construction of a future reality that prioritizes environmental sustainability. Thus, the work aims to recognize strategies for using recyclable materials as a socio-educational instrument for environmental preservation and students' environmental perception. The methodology adopted to prepare the article was descriptive in nature, as well as exploratory in nature. The research observed that the students demonstrated understanding of the activities carried out and their drawings clearly expressed the way they see the environment in which they live and their concern about strengthening nature conservation strategies.
