Abstract

In the configuration of situations that promote different ways of approaching the learning and teaching of mathematics, the research scenarios are being widely thought. This work shows the participatory construction of research scenarios from the deployment of a strategy framed in participatory action research with high school students. This construction aims to find possibilities to relate classroom mathematical practices and social practices inherent to the world of students' lives. These reflections are made from the theoretical foundations of critical mathematics education (CME) developed by Skovsmose.
