The brachial plexus is a particularly critical region of the peripheral nervous system as regards its exposition to the trauma. Because of its anatomical relations with the mobile structures of the neck and the shoulder, it can be involved when the force vectors provoke traction on these structures. In the present study we report the case of a patient victim of traumatic injury of brachial plexus and some guidelines for the rehabilitation of the primary and secondary complications of the trauma. The physiotherapy approach is proposed to minimize the impact of the injury and to facilitate the gradual return of the patients to the basic and instrumental activities of the daily life.
