Introduction. Music is able to generate auditory-motor interactions in the brain of those who perform it and also those who listen to it, facilitating learning. In this respect, the trail test allows you to monitor the acquisition of a motor skill. Objective. This study evaluated the effect of music on children undergoing motor learning on a mobile device. Method. Blinded Randomized Controlled Study with Follow-up; With a sample of 52 children aged between 8 and 10 years, both sexes, right-handed, without neuropsychomotor impairment, without experience with the task. The trail test adapted for the digital version was used, with 08 environments, in the evaluation; in the intervention - associated with the Mozart composition entitled Sonata for two pianos (8 minutes and 42 seconds) - two repetitions of the test and a one-minute interval between them in the experimental group with music and the control group without music; And on reassessment after a week break. Results. The Mann-Whitney test showed a significant reduction in execution time and number of errors in both groups (pre x post). There was a trend of error reduction in all tracks played with music compared to without music. There was a significant reduction in track 8, where the environment is inverted and mirrored. Conclusion. The work showed that music can directly influence motor learning in children and the instrument helps in future research in the area of motor learning, rehabilitation and education.
