  • Special Edition dedicated to the Congress of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology/Chemistry of the Federal University of ABC, Brazil (CTQ/UFABC Graduate Congress)

    Dear Participants of the CTQ/UFABC Graduate Congress,

    We are delighted to announce the opportunity to publish full papers related to those presented at the event in the Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering. This journal was launched in the 2nd semester of 2023 and its editor-in-chief is Prof. Yvan Asencios, a professor in our program.

    The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering (JSSE) (ISSN 2965-4505) is part of the UNIFESP Journal Portal. Each article undergoes peer review, follows good scientific publishing practices and each accepted article receives a DOI. JSSE is indexed in Google Scholar and Crossref. The 1st issue of the journal was published in 2023 and the 4th issue, which will be dedicated to our event, will be published in early 2025. The scope of the journal can be found at https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse.

    Full papers, or short communications, should follow the template available at https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse and manuscripts should be submitted by February 14, 2025 via https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse/about/submissions. When submitting the manuscript, after creating an account, we kindly ask the authors to select the “Original Articles” option in the submission area and then choose the “Special Issues from Scientific Meetings” option in the categories area.  Finally, in the comments to the Editor box, please write “CTQ/UFABC Congress, 2024”.

    Please note that only unpublished articles can be published. Papers of up to 7 pages and review articles will be accepted.

    We hope that our community will take advantage of this unique opportunity to publish the papers presented at the event in the Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering, while at the same time giving prestige to and encouraging the growth of a journal.

  • Special Edition dedicated to the XIV Regional Catalysis Meeting (XIV ERCAT) of Regional 3 of the Brazilian Society of Catalysis (SBCat).

    Dear Participants of the XIV Regional Catalysis Meeting (ERCAT) of Regional 3 of the Brazilian Society of Catalysis (SBCat).

    With great satisfaction, we announce the opportunity to publish complete articles based on those presented during XIV ERCAT in the "Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering". This journal was launched in the second half of 2023 and its editor-in-chief is Prof. Dr. Yvan J. O. Asencios, professor at UNIFESP and our colleague from Regional 3. The idea originated from Prof. Yvan and was enthusiastically received by the Coordination of Regional 3.

    The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering is part of the UNIFESP Periodical Portal and already has a DOI and ISSN. The first edition of the journal was published in 2023, and the 2nd edition, dedicated to the XIV ERCAT, is expected to be published in 2024. The journal’s scope can be found at https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse 

    The preparation of complete articles must follow the template available at https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse.  Manuscripts must be submitted by August 5, 2024 via https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse/about/submissions 

    When submitting the manuscript, after creating an account, we kindly ask authors to select the "Original Articles" option in the submission area and then, in the categories area, choose "Special Issues from Scientific Meetings". Finally, in the comments to the Editor box, we kindly ask you to write "Regional Catalysis Meeting (ERCAT), Campinas SP, 2024".

    We hope that our community takes advantage of this unique opportunity to publish the works presented at the XIV ERCAT of Regional 3 in a Special Issue of the Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering. By doing this, we can also contribute to the development and support of a journal that originated within our regional and holds the potential to represent us internationally.

After acceptance of their paper, the article is permanently, immediately,  and freely accessible to all.  JSSE is sponsored by the Federal University of São  Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil.

    Announcement: First volume in 2023!.  Authors are welcome to submit their manuscripts during 2023. The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering  (JSSE) is an open-access journal, which means that the Authors will not be asked to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after acceptance of their paper to make their work permanently, immediately,  and freely accessible to all.  JSSE is sponsored by the Federal University of São  Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil.
