Announcement: First volume in 2023!. Authors are welcome to submit their manuscripts during 2023. The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering (JSSE) is an open-access journal, which means that the Authors will not be asked to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after acceptance of their paper to make their work permanently, immediately, and freely accessible to all. JSSE is sponsored by the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil.
The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering (JSSE) is a refereed, international journal that covers all aspects of engineering and sustainability and its practical applications. The journal publishes original papers, short communications, review papers, opinion papers (regarding a relevant and current topic), in the areas of, but not limited to:
Renewable energy, clean production, green fuels, materials (applied to energy, environment), environmental pollution (impact and remediation), bioprocesses, circular economy, sustainability, engineering applied to sustainability, and articles based on university extension actions (in areas directly related to the topics of this journal).
Researchers from the following areas are strongly desired: energy engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, marine science and engineering, bioengineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and interdisciplinary sciences involving more than one of these disciplines.
The journal publishes also Special Issues within its scope resulting from specific editorial efforts or covering a particular theme.
All articles are subjected to extensive peer review (single-blind review) by international reviewers.
