The use of residue from Pinus spp. (acicles) in a recycled paper workshop as an Environmental Education tool

Abstract

Pinus ssp. is incorporated into the landscape, and what to do with one of the residues resulting from handling (acicles) is what guided the presentation of a workshop that works with the use of these residues applied to the manufacture of recycled paper in the municipality of Canela-RS. The methodology was after the SWOT analysis, a collective field study with interdisciplinarity characteristics. It has an educational and social impact, high applicability, and high complexity because it involves the environmental, social, and economic spheres. The pedagogical sphere of Environmental Education shows the greatest impact when society spontaneously appropriates knowledge and internalizes the feeling of building a community.
