Special Edition dedicated to the XIV Regional Catalysis Meeting (XIV ERCAT) of Regional 3 of the Brazilian Society of Catalysis (SBCat).

Dear Participants of the XIV Regional Catalysis Meeting (ERCAT) of Regional 3 of the Brazilian Society of Catalysis (SBCat).

With great satisfaction, we announce the opportunity to publish complete articles based on those presented during XIV ERCAT in the "Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering". This journal was launched in the second half of 2023 and its editor-in-chief is Prof. Dr. Yvan J. O. Asencios, professor at UNIFESP and our colleague from Regional 3. The idea originated from Prof. Yvan and was enthusiastically received by the Coordination of Regional 3.

The Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering is part of the UNIFESP Periodical Portal and already has a DOI and ISSN. The first edition of the journal was published in 2023, and the 2nd edition, dedicated to the XIV ERCAT, is expected to be published in 2024. The preparation of complete articles must follow the template available at https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse.  Manuscripts must be submitted by August 5, 2024 via https://periodicos.unifesp.br/index.php/jsse/about/submissions 

When submitting the manuscript, after creating an account, we kindly ask authors to select the "Original Articles" option in the submission area and then, in the categories area, choose "Special Issues from Scientific Meetings". Finally, in the comments to the Editor box, we kindly ask you to write "Regional Catalysis Meeting (ERCAT), Campinas SP, 2024".

We hope that our community takes advantage of this unique opportunity to publish the works presented at the XIV ERCAT of Regional 3 in a Special Issue of the Journal of Science & Sustainable Engineering. By doing this, we can also contribute to the development and support of a journal that originated within our regional and holds the potential to represent us internationally.
