Wildlife Observation Tourism is part of the ecotourism segment and is considered a model that challenges a form of production that demands knowledge and respect for nature, in accordance with the sociocultural dynamics of the territories. Like other tourism practices, Wildlife Observation Tourism demands and materializes in the design and implementation of itineraries, infrastructure, management and professional training with the mobilization of various social actors. In the last decade, there has been a growing demand for Wildlife Observation Tourism in Brazil, and the observation of diverse forms of life is the essence that motivates travelers in Brazil and around the world, and its qualification and practice are decisively opposed to mass tourism. This phenomenon deserves to be analyzed in more depth and recorded in the questioning of the knowledge and practices related to this tourism niche that connects to science, culture and education.
