Abstract

Children's literature and the environment will be approached in a conjunctive way, aiming at environmental awareness, to change habits about what we produce and consume. Nowadays humanity lives a very critical moment in relation to waste disposal and, therefore, a change of habits regarding waste disposal is necessary. We present the discussion about environmental awareness with emphasis on a recycling project where it was possible to observe the students' involvement and their posture change, as well as their perception regarding environmental awareness.
