Education and Environmental Law: a curricular evaluation in Law graduation

Abstract

Education, as these are part of our daily lives. There is an important relationship between Environmental Education and Environmental Law, and it is necessary to theoretically understand their concepts and apply them to the legal environment. In addition, Environment is not just about the ecological way in which living beings are treated, but also covers the interactions of the cultural, work, and political environment, among many other influences. This work was intended to verify and compare the level of knowledge about the Environment in the first-year class with last year's class, in a Law course, in a Faculty that offers training in Law and is located in Tucuruí, State from Pará. A directed questionnaire was applied on subjects, basic and comprehensive, related to the Environment. It was found a need to adjust the disciplines on the environment, in the respective periods taught.
