Abstract

By integrating sustainability into hospital routines, environmental education improves the quality of the environment and, consequently, the health and well-being of patients. Therefore, the present work aims to review the scientific literature on the relationship between sustainability in hospitals, Environmental Education and health promotion. By adopting sustainable practices and promoting awareness of the links between health and the environment, hospitals can lead the way to a more resilient, efficient healthcare system centered on human and environmental well-being.
