O fenômeno turístico em Destinos Turísticos Costeiros: contexto do Turismo Azul a partir da literatura

Resumo

Considerando os impactos negativos e positivos causados por ou que influenciam no fenômeno turístico em Destinos Turísticos Costeiros, esta pesquisa visa, a partir da literatura, analisar o contexto do Turismo Azul diante do movimento internacional de discussão, sensibilização e conscientização sobre a importância das zonas costeiras e oceânicas na Década da Ciência Oceânica. Iniciativa implementada pela Organização das Nações Unidas - ONU em 2021. A pesquisa possui natureza exploratória e descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa. Quanto ao delineamento, possui natureza bibliográfica, utilizando estratégias da bibliometria. Assim, foram identificados 32 artigos na base de dados Scopus e 25 na Web of Science. A análise final é interpretada pelos seguintes tópicos: (i) poluição e contaminação por poluentes, como microplásticos, que destaca a complexidade do problema e a necessidade de estratégias de avaliação e remediação; (ii) mudanças climáticas que ameaçam padrões climáticos, biodiversidade, saúde humana e a economia global, incluindo o turismo azul. Estratégias de mitigação e adaptação, como redução de emissões de gases de efeito estufa, investimentos em tecnologias e participação ativa das comunidades locais, são essenciais e (iii) desafios relacionados ao fenômeno turístico em regiões costeiras e marinhas, onde uma abordagem integrada e colaborativa, com pesquisa interdisciplinar e políticas eficazes, pode proteger destinos turísticos costeiros, ecossistemas marinhos e comunidades dependentes.
