Abstract

Abstract: The article discusses the political trajectory of the most important and influencial leaders in the conservative Party at Province of Pernambuco. Viscount of Camaragibe, searching, in dialogue with historiography, to verify what strategies and social networks He has wrought to advance his public career. Stands out in its trajectory his condition as party chief, which made him a fundamental mediator in the relations between the central government and his party at Pernambuco. The observation of the various functions and obligations that had him as a party líder, such as the definiton of his of your party's candidates in elections and the orientation of his party in Parliament in important votes, deserved relief as well, in this work. Its conclusions, indicate that the most important position occupied by the Viscount of Camaragibe was not of general deputy neither senator, but as the head of the conservative party in his province .
