Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore the problems of female entrepreneurship in Peru, for which a systematic review of the national and international literature has been carried out under Boolean operators. The main characteristics of female entrepreneurship and the gaps that impede its sustainable development have been identified. They propose the implementation of female entrepreneurship training initiatives by the State and private companies, such as academic training, technical training, financial education and equitable policies. It is concluded that female entrepreneurial empowerment is still weak in the construction of a sustainable Peruvian society.
