Environmental implications of Tourism in Barreirinhas (MA, Brazil) from the observation of receptive travel agents

Abstract

The work aims to discuss the implications of the order of the natural environment - consequences of the Tourism activity, installed in the Lençóis Maranhenses region, from the spatial cut of the city of Barreirinhas, one of the access door to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (one of the social actors), based on the observation of receptive travel agents in the locality, this being your theme. Following the preliminary bibliographic discussions and with regard to the search for answers to this situation, the field research methodology is established, using the investigative instrument of the Interview type (provided with a more open and subjective inquiry). As for the results obtained, they point to evidence of a region that appears to be affected, given the modification of its original spacing by human sistematic intervention. Hence the significant impact of the negotiations established in this study is highlighted, since local practices historically not provided for conservation and care of the territory, which is increasingly fragille, causing the criticality consequent reflections.
