The tourism perspective for remote places: Analysis of the municipality of Laranjal do Jari (AP, Brazil)

Abstract

This article presents a brief approach to the scenario in which tourism activity is seen today, from the analysis of global aspects and its dissemination as a growing alternative,and consequently expansion or creation becomes increasingly evident of new destinations increasing the range of possibilities, in addition to allowing certain regions that have unexplored attractions, may have the chance become a touristic route through their potential. From the analysis of the theme addressed by authors who deal with the subject, combined with the case study of the reality of the municipality of Laranjal do Jari, located in the south of the state of Amapá, in the northern region of Brazil, it was possible to carry out a diagnosis that allowed the obtaining of theoretical results to be presented in this work, with which we want to emphasize the conception that the execution of tourism in remote regions is perfectly viable while the existing potentials are equal to others currently established in the field of tourism, leaving only structuring and investments in order for them to be successful in their receptive capacity. The main objective was to highlight the importance of improving the structural conditions necessary for the practice of tourism in places where the activity is not yet established, showing how promising a certain location can be for the development of actions in this field, which it allows the awakening to possibility of social and e economic growth for the place that holds it.
