O impacto da hospitalização por COVID-19 na qualidade do sono: revisão de escopo

Resumo

Objetivo. Mapear os achados de qualidade do sono de pacientes hospitalizados devido à COVID-19. Método. Foi realizada uma revisão de escopo, seguindo o Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA-ScR). Foram incluídos, estudos que avaliaram a qualidade de sono de pacientes hospitalizados devido à COVID-19 e excluídos aqueles que não utilizaram um protocolo quantitativo. Resultados. Desta forma, 14 estudos foram selecionados, que em sua maioria utilizaram o questionário Índice de Qualidade do Sono de Pittsburgh para controle desta variável. Houve indícios de qualidade ruim de sono durante a internação e também após a alta, relacionando ainda outras comorbidades como sintomas de ansiedade, de depressão, além da associação com o tempo de internação. Conclusão. Sendo assim, observou-se que a qualidade de sono dos pacientes hospitalizados por COVID-19 foi predominantemente ruim.
