Abstract

This study analyzes the acceptance of the digital educational game Caapedia, a tool developed to promote sustainable practices in the Caatinga biome through gamification, interactive narrative, and resource simulation. The research used Davis' Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (1989) to assess the perceptions of 54 participants through a questionnaire applied between May and June 2025. The evaluation showed positive results in all dimensions: Perceived Usefulness (81.5%), Attitude (83.3%), Ease of Use (65.7%), and Behavioral Intention to Use (71.0%), with significant correlations between the constructs, especially between Attitude and Intention to Use (ρ = 0.82) and between Perceived Usefulness and Attitude (ρ = 0.80). Caapedia showed high acceptance rates, validating its potential as an educational tool for sustainable development in the Caatinga.
