Abstract

The aim of this article was to analyze the scientific production of the Brazilian Journal of Environmental Education (RevBEA) on environmental education in family farming between the years 2004-2024. The methodology adopted was a bibliographical review with a qualitative-quantitative approach. The results reveal a predominance of articles with few authors and an emphasis on bibliographic and qualitative methodologies, which account for 40% and 30% of the studies. The final considerations highlight the need to diversify methodological approaches, including the active participation of farmers in the research, which could enrich the studies and ensure that the proposed solutions are more in line with their realities.
