Sulla sindrome populista la delegittimazione come strategia politica
Main Article Content
Abstract
Delegitimisation is found throughout all political conflict and it enables one to interpret the multiple facets of populism. However, it does not fully encompass the theoretical complexity of democracy. While it is true that populism today represents one face of democracy – what the author calls “populist syndrome” – it does not identify it completely (as supported by, for example, Ernesto Laclau). It is for this reason that the recovery of democracy does not follow the lexis of delegitimisation, but rather that of authority. The renaissance of politicians does not have to involve populism.
