This study is a master's dissertation that aimed to analyse the Continuous Education experienced by the workers active in the Social Assistance Reference Centre (CRAS) of the municipality of Cajati, in the state of São Paulo. The questioning of this research referred to the worker of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) and their formative process under the responsibility of the federation, municipality, and state regarding the Social Assistance Public Policy. The absence of a Municipal Plan for Continuous Education for the workers and the lack of registration of professional activities in the daily agenda of the exercise were evidenced, as advocated by SUAS of the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS) and the National Continuous Education Policy (PEP). The research also aimed to contribute to the qualification of professionals working in direct assistance to the population served by the services offered by the CRAS, allowing an approximation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Citizenship/Special Secretariat for Social Development and the State Secretariat for Social Development (SEDS) through a technical product, the object of this study.
