Abstract

This study investigates the impact of dirt on the efficiency of solar panels. Through experiments with different types of soiling, we simulated real pollution conditions and measured the reduction in energy production. In addition to contributing to scientific advancement, this research offers an excellent opportunity to address topics such as renewable energy, environmental pollution, and sustainability in the classroom. By relating dirt to the decrease in solar energy production, students can understand the importance of caring for the environment and adopting more sustainable practices. The proposed experimental activity stimulates interest in science and promotes the formation of conscious citizens engaged with current challenges.
