Abstract

Inequality and the lack of basic services in some regions of the Amazon highlight the need for innovative approaches that integrate Environmental Education, Environmental Management and the promotion of sustainable solutions. This study proposes the analysis of the dimensioning of a floating solar pumping system, in an educational and participatory manner, aiming to serve single-family riverside homes in isolated communities in the Amazon. The research method begins with collecting irradiation data in Amazonas, involving the local community in the information collection process. The delimitation of water consumption is carried out together with residents, promoting a participatory and educational approach. After sizing and simulation, three scenarios are analyzed, considering technical and environmental variables, but also the inclusion of the community in decision-making. In conclusion, the proposed system seeks not only to meet the community's water demands, but also to provide an educational and awareness-raising experience. The adopted renewable technology is presented not only as a technical solution, but as a tool to promote understanding of the importance of sustainability and energy transition. The emphasis on training the community to maintain the system stands out, strengthening autonomy and commitment to environmental preservation.
