Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage duelo cerebral aneurisms Clinical recovery after subarachnoid hemorrhage is still troublesome with high mortality rate. Aneurysm rupture accounts for about BO% of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage in adults and 55% in children. Rebleeding and cerebral vosospasm are the main causes of morbidity and mortality Some new drugs have been developed to counteract vasospasm.Mild hypothermia has proved to be the best protective agent solar. New surgical approaches, techniques and modern clips have improved the outcome after spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage. Some general topics are discussed.
