Os neurilemomas são tumores encapsulados originários das células de Schwann de nervos periféricos e cranianos. Os tumores de nervos periféricos isolados são raros e seu diagnóstico correto pode ser difícil. Esses tumores raramente são diagnosticados antes da realização de biopsia ou cirurgia, já que são pouco freqüentes e podem ter apresentação clinica variável. Descrevemos um caso de neurilemoma de nervo periférico em uma paciente com história de dor abdominal.
