The test discusses some of the historic transformations of the conception of health and its articulations with ideology and supremacy. The reflections place themselves between the sciences of medicine and psychology, in the intention of questioning the harm for psychology professionals in the adoption of a medical conception of health and illness and the need to build a conception that is fair to the particularities of the specific objects of the psychologist, being sure that here are not the same as those of the doctor.
