Objective. This study examined the effects of plantar sensory-motor stimulation in two patients with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). Method. Were used esthesiometry; Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and score of symptoms neuropathy (SN). For treatment, we used a set of tactile stimulation. Were held 14 sessions (two sessions per week). Results. The patient 1 showed decreased scores of BBS (3.6%), increased scores of SN (11.1%) and decreased sensitivity of pre-post treatment, no difference in the follow-up. The patient 2 showed increased scores of BBS (1.8%), increase in scores of SN (44.4%) and increased sensitivity of prepost treatment, and increased scores of BBS (21, 4%), reducing the score of SN (33.3%) in the follow-up. Conclusions. The plantar sensory-motor stimulation for CIDP patients showed variable results. The distinct time of symptoms between patients was not allow the completion of stimulation’s influence, but can consider the benefits of the therapy proposal according to the evolution of one patient.
