Introduction. Neoplasms of the choroid plexus tumors are neuroectodermal origin corresponding to 0.4% to 0.6% of brain tumors. In the vast majority are benign tumors with a predilection for the cerebral ventricles as local appearance. Objective. To report a case of a child under 3 years of age and choroid plexus carcinoma. Method. Case report of a patient with choroid plexus carcinoma. Results. The patient underwent surgery and subsequent radiotherapy at the moment, as an outpatient. Conclusion. Although most common in children under 2 years of choroid plexus carcinoma can occur in older patients and remain asymptomatic until it reaches a considerable size. Surgical treatment is the goal, but because of the size of the tumor and the clinical condition of the patient, not always achieved. The clinical manifestation of intracranial hypertension secondary to hydrocephalus is quite common in children and increased perimeter brain must attract attention of pediatricians and neurologists.
