Efectos del extracto de lúpulo en un modelo animal de fibromialgia inducido por reserpina

Resumen

Introducción. El diagnóstico de fibromialgia se ha actualizado periódicamente, con signos distintivos de depresión/ansiedad. Objetivo. Establecer las características de los estados comportamentales de depresión/ansiedad en un modelo animal de fibromialgia inducida por inyecciones repetidas de reserpina en ratas Wistar bajo el efecto del tratamiento con extracto hidroalcohólico de lúpulo. Método. Después de inyecciones de salina, reserpina y extracto de lúpulo hidroalcohólico, las ratas Wistar fueron sometidas a pruebas de campo abierto (TCA), laberinto em cruz elevado (LCE) y natación forzada (TNF). Resultados. Después del tratamiento con extracto de lúpulo no fue posible observar diferencias en los datos de ATC y LCE en comparación con la reserpina. Por otro lado, el extracto de lúpulo hidroalcohólico fue capaz de revertir los cambios de comportamiento depresivos producidos por la reserpina en el TNF. Conclusión. Estos datos refuerzan el efecto depresivo y ansiogénico característico del modelo de fibromialgia inducido por inyecciones repetidas de reserpina y sugieren un posible efecto ansiolítico del extracto de lúpulo.
