Efeitos da dança em pacientes com doença de Parkinson: uma revisão integrativa

Objetivo. Identificar os efeitos cognitivos e motores da dança no tratamento de pacientes com doença de Parkinson. Método. Para a realização deste estudo foi conduzida uma revisão da literatura do tipo integrativa, utilizando como fonte artigos indexados pelas bases de dados: Pubmed/Medline, Cochrane, PEDro e Scielo. Os estudos encontrados serão triados através do GRADE, guia de recomendações para verificação do nível da qualidade de evidência. Resultados. Após a coleta e extração de dados, 197 artigos foram triados e submetidos à revisão em pares por autores independentes, resultando na exclusão e seleção de apenas 11 estudos viáveis. Os artigos resultantes passaram por avaliação da qualidade de evidência através do sistema GRADE que somente qualificou 7 artigos para a realização deste estudo. Os artigos qualificados avaliaram um total de 283 pacientes em diversos domínios afetados pela DP entre eles mobilidade funcional, equilíbrio, desempenho nas AVD’s, marcha e cognição. Os achados sugerem a qualificação da dança como ferramenta útil para o tratamento desses pacientes, ademais foi identificado melhora no desempenho motor em especial na mobilidade funcional, equilíbrio, velocidade da marcha e desempenho das AVD’s e melhora do desempenho cognitivo com diminuição de sintomas depressivos, aumento da socialização, diminuição de humor negativo e redução da ansiedade. Conclusão. A dança demonstrou ser uma ferramenta eficaz para promover melhora dos domínios motores e cognitivos dos pacientes com Parkinson.
