Social Protection in Perspective: Families, Construction, and Resistance.
The Convergences Journal: Families and Public Policies (CFPP) announces the call for submissions for its Issue 5, dedicated to the theme Social Protection in Perspective: Families, Construction, and Resistance. This issue aims to gather scientific contributions that examine the challenges and transformations affecting family social protection in the contemporary context, marked by persistent inequalities, institutional tensions, and changes in public policies.
The goal is to promote interdisciplinary reflections on the processes of construction, consolidation, and resistance within policies designed to ensure rights and strengthen citizenship. We welcome analyses of experiences developed within SUAS and SUS in Brazil, as well as studies addressing other systems and international contexts. The call encourages submissions that present theoretical contributions, empirical analyses, management experiences, professional practices, and collective initiatives related to family protection and care.
With its rolling submission system, CFPP reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and to ongoing dialogue among research, training, and public policy practice. The editorial team highlights the importance of studies that explore the multiple dimensions of social vulnerabilities, the functioning of social protection policies, and the forms of family mobilization and resistance across different territories.
Interested researchers may consult the submission guidelines on the journal’s website and submit their articles at any time of the year. CFPP invites the academic and professional community to join this space of debate and knowledge production.
