This paper is a report of a classroom experience that portrays the importance of Ancient History in the school curriculum, highlighting its potential to promote citizenship and respect for cultural diversity. By focusing specifically on the study of homoeroticism in Ancient Greece, the text explores how this approach can enrich History teaching, offering students a broader and more critical understanding of different cultural manifestations over time. Using Michel Foucault's reflections as a theoretical basis, the report explores notions of sexuality in the ancient and contemporary world, encouraging students to reflect on their own conceptions and prejudices. Forms were used during classes, aiming to evaluate the impact of the content presented on students' perception of sexuality.
