Associação entre a gravidade do AVC, equilíbrio e mobilidade funcional em pacientes trombolisados

Resumo

Objetivo. Avaliar a correlação entre a gravidade do déficit neurológico com o equilíbrio e mobilidade funcional em indivíduos na fase aguda do AVC isquêmico (AVC-I) que realizaram a terapia trombolítica. Método. Trata-se de um estudo longitudinal realizado numa unidade de AVC entre 2018 e 2020, sendo incluídos pacientes com AVC-I trombolisados, capazes de compreender comandos verbais e com hemodinâmica estável. Foram excluídos aqueles que apresentassem deterioração dentro da primeira hora de admissão ou fosse transferido para unidade de terapia intensiva, ou ainda que tivesse outra doença grave ou instável. Os pacientes foram avaliados na admissão e até o sétimo dia de internamento com a National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), escala de equilíbrio de Berg (EEB) e o Timed Up and Go (TUG). Para avaliar a associação entre as variáveis foi utilizado o teste de correlação de Spearman. Resultados. O NIHSS apresentou correlação com a EEB na admissão (r=-0,651, p<0,001) e na alta hospitalar (r=-0,535, p<0,001). Não houve associação entre o NIHSS e o TUG. Conclusão. Houve correlação moderada negativa entre a gravidade do déficit neurológico e o equilíbrio de indivíduos trombolisados na fase aguda do AVC-I.
