  • Almudena Hernando, Universidad Complutense de Madrid

    É professora de Pré-História e membro do Instituto de Pesquisa Feminista da Universidade Complutense de Madri.

    Sua pesquisa se concentra no estudo da identidade, tanto nas sociedades indígenas orais quanto na sociedade ocidental moderna, com um interesse especial pelas mulheres. Ela realizou trabalhos de campo com grupos indígenas na Guatemala, no Brasil e na Etiópia.

    Foi pesquisadora visitante nas Universidades da Califórnia-Los Angeles e Berkeley, na Universidade de Chicago e em Harvard.

    É autora de vários livros, incluindo “Archaeology of Identity” e “The Fantasy of Individuality”.
