Abstract

This review analyzes the book Against the Modern World - Traditionalism and secret intellectual history of the twentieth century, by the british historian Mark Sedgwick, one of the leading experts in the history of Traditionalism, current of metaphysical, political and religious thought. The book represents a great contribution to the understanding of the origins of Traditionalism, its expansion and diversification, as well as its religious and political influence, especially among anti-liberal “new right” movements today, in Europe, Russia, the United States and Brazil.
