Os gregos como o 'outro'
A interculturalidade pela perspectiva egípcia – Parte II: discursos

Analisaremos a perspectiva sobre os gregos (no entendimento mais amplo do termo) apresentada no discurso egípcio, com ênfase na escrita hieroglífica. Além de apresentar trechos traduzidos, examinaremos conceitos fundamentais presentes nessas fontes textuais, como a entrega de tributos (jn.w), a fim de compreender como o contato intercultural entre Egito e Grécia foi registrado. Discutiremos textos do Reino Novo, incluindo a Lista do Egeu de Amenófis III, duas inscrições das tumbas tebanas, uma cerimônia de recebimento de impostos em Amarna e uma inscrição do período raméssida. Em seguida, abordaremos a Dinastia Saíta, analisando a Estela de Elefantina, a inscrição de Neshor e o Decreto de Saís de Nectanebo I. Por fim, examinaremos brevemente possíveis críticas à dinastia macedônica, conforme registradas na Crônica Demótica.
