La temporalidad instantánea de la esfera pública

Una observación de las prácticas comunicativas en medios digitales

Resumen

¿Es el "tiempo" una categoría social importante para reflexionar sobre la esfera pública? Este tema nos lleva casi inevitablemente a considerar el "espacio" como una dimensión social de la reflexión y el análisis. Sin embargo, con la llegada de los medios digitales, otra dimensión social de la esfera pública cobra prominencia: el tiempo. Argumentamos que una comprensión adecuada de la esfera pública digital debe considerar sus estructuras temporales.

  • Emerson Palmieri, Universidade de São Paulo - USP
    Licenciado en Sociología por la Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), tiene una maestría por la misma universidad y un doctorado en Sociología por la Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Actualmente es investigador posdoctoral en el Departamento de Sociología de la USP. Es miembro de la "Red Latinoamericana de Sistemas Sociales y Complejidad" (Relassc).
