EVALUATION ECOSYSTEM IN COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN QUEBEC (CANADA)

Abstract

Based on the results of a co-constructed research, this article highlights the dynamics of the evaluation ecosystem and the relationships between various groups of stakeholders involved in the evaluation practices of "community organizations" (grassroots organizations). By studying the case of grassroots organizations in Quebec (Canada), we found that the stakeholder groups are diverse, the ecosystem they form is evolving, and the relationships between these actors are variable, generating tensions (due to power relations) but also spaces for negotiation.
