Abstract

The third volume of the Journal Interfaces: Families and Public Policies explores social protection for families in Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean, with studies conducted in 2022. The first part covers topics such as ethnic and racial issues, challenges of social assistance during the pandemic, and aversion to the poor in Brazil. It also includes research on m-learning, aging, social assistance policies in small municipalities, food security, and gender-based violence. The second part focuses on intervention practices, highlighting research on remote education for social workers and proposing improvements in teacher training. The volume aims to reflect on and deepen discussions about social protection and public policies in the mentioned regions.
