Trajectory of the Center for Studies, Research, and Extension on Families and Public Policies (NEF) (2009-2020)

Abstract

The NEF celebrated its first ten years and began its second decade with a new remote approach, using virtual communication means and the languages of Spanish, English, and Portuguese, thereby expanding the knowledge of its participants and their diverse socio-territorial spaces.

The products of this celebration, now presented, mark the beginning of a new way to share scientific productions through this collection titled INTERFACES: FAMILIES AND PUBLIC POLICIES, whose first volume is titled "10 Years: Paths traveled by the Center for Studies, Research and Extension in Families and Public Policies - NEF (2009-2020)".

It is important to note that this publication is annual, and its content includes theoretical-conceptual reflections from different disciplines and interdisciplinary formations of NEF members, as well as reviews, expanded summaries, narratives, interviews, and research results conducted within the group's context.

In this edition, the content is written in Spanish and divided into two parts: a first part that addresses conceptual aspects and a second part dedicated to intervention practices with families, titled:

• Part I: Social Assistance Management and Research in Social Work with Families
• Part II: Social Work with Families: Intervention Practices.
