Desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras finas no primeiro ano de vida

Estudo realizado a partir de revisão da literatura teve por objetivo descrever as principais etapas do desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras finas no primeiro ano de vida, como o alcance, a preensão e a manipulação dos objetos. Enfatizou-se o aspecto evolutivo das aquisições que surgem progressivamente, em associação com a maturidade do sistema nervoso, musculoesquelético e com a experiência. Além disso, pôde-se constatar grande especificidade nos processos de desenvolvimento motor. O conhecimento detalhado das habilidades motoras finas típicas torna a percepção do examinador mais apurada para reconhecer e interpretar o desenvolvimento atípico possibilita o encaminhamento para a estimulação de habilidades específicas, auxilia na estruturação do programa de estimulação e na observação os ganhos advindos deste assim como facilita a orientação dos pais durante o programa.
