Resumo

A adequada utilização dos métodos de diagnóstico por imagem nas doenças carotídeas é essencial para a segurança na indicação da conduta terapêutica. Neste artigo, fazemos a revisão dos métodos mais utilizados, ressaltando suas limitações e suas vantagens.
